World Religions


Objectives:

  • Identifies the geographic distribution of the religion (ex: on a map).
  • Identify the population (ex: The approximate number of followers).
  • Name the place of origin and the events related to the foundation.
  • Show symbols associated with the religion (ex: cross for christianity) and express the meaning
  • Name some values and norms (ex: in Native spirituality, the value of respect for nature means only killing animals for food).
  • If possible, describe eating practices and clothing related to the religion. Express their meanings.
  • Name at least one important character.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. You gather the information related to the objectives.
  2. You show understanding of your subject.
  3. Your project is original and you show creativity.
  4. You participate in your team's work.
